So you sayin i should buy the jbj? THe 29gal bio-cube is onsale for 200 right now. And a jbj 24gal with free stand is 250. whats better tank

It's fine not to add anything to your tank if it doesn't need it. My tank consumes more Ca and Alk than I can cover with weekly 25% waterchanges, so I add kalkwasser and two part for extra Ca and some Alk. That's all I'd ever add.
