MICHAELF Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 6 Votes: 1 Registered: 06-Apr-2006 | I have been looking at alot of websites online where they sale live fish.i noticed that they are a little bit more online because of shipping and handleing but they offer a arrive alive guarantee and a 14day guarantee unlike my lfs so i was just wanting to get some opions on ordering the fish online before i place my order. |

Unless you're buying a lot of fish or a rare fish I would stick with your lfs. It is a very stressful experience of both the fish and you. After doing a couple orders I relished in just going to the lfs and picking up a fish. |

The Zebra Lionfish is a pretty common fish; granted, not as common as the Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish, but still relatively common. Surprised that your stores can't get it. If that is the case, ordering online may be your only option to get the fish. However, if I really want a fish and stocking order is important, I generally talk to the LFS to see if they can order it in. That way, when the fish get to the store you can see if they are healthy or not and choose the best out of the group and all that other fun stuff. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

Then I wave the shrimp around and wait until the lionfish comes over and sucks up the food. It's a fun and more interactive way of getting your fish to eat. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
