its called a tap water purifier and i was woundering has anyopne used it or know how it works. And is it as affective as an r/o unit?

Eventually it will cost more to use than an RO/DI unit. It will generally only filter 100 gallons before expiring(sometimes less), at which time you have to buy their refills that cost more than refilling DI resin and changing prefilters for an RO/DI unit per gallon of filtered water, thus making more expensive in the long run.

Oh, and it won't be as pure either.
