Because acrylic scratches easily you should be careful about what you use.

And chemicals around fish tanks are scary.

I'd just use a damp cloth to dust it off. That shouldn't scratch, and should do the trick nicely. Works for me with my glass and acrylics.

I have used "JBL Glass cleaner" to clean all my tanks, it works well and most of all it is non-toxic, accidental spray to aquarium water will not harm, it is designed for aquarium cleaning after all

Buy a squegee, take a paper towel, wet it, and wipe the acrylic off with a generous amount of water. This will easily remove any salts you have built up, or any other debris. Then use the squegee to remove the water, and have a sparkling crystal clear and clean surface left.
