	Controlling bryopsis
stuff_gnome Fish Addict Posts: 620 Kudos: 382 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Aug-2003	I've never had to deal with this stuff before so I have no idea what to do about it. It started after I switched calcium supplements and my phosphate level went a little above nonexistent, so I blame that. But now that I have it how do I get rid of it? It continues to grow even though my phosphate level is now zero and and I switched back to my original calcium brand.

I believe I will try just using my 20,000K metal halide and not my daylight T-5 lights and see if that helps also. I read up on the nasty stuff, apparently its poisonous and that's why few things eat it . I guess I'll just pull it up during my next water change and suck up the pieces I pull out with the syphon.
