Convincing a friend | |
Wfish Hobbyist Posts: 58 Kudos: 25 Votes: 18 Registered: 30-Jan-2005 | Recently, I talked to a friend about marine tanks. I talked to him about him trying one (he's been keeping fish for a very long time, longer than me) and evidently he wants to keep one. I've never owned a marine tank... what is a list of equipment you need for one, and what does? Also, a list of easy to keep marinefish would be helpful. Thanks! |

Also good lighting is important for live rock growth and fish color. Damsels are very hardy fish for beginners and they are cheap aswell. Although with Damsels you are limited to a few species of other fish then. Damsels are aggressive and teeritorial, so for a 40 gallon i would only go with the one type of fish. |

But I was just saying that was the minumum that i wouls suggest. But that stock is a very good one, with bottom dwellers you could even go with some of the normal aggressive damsels. I have housed damsels with green chromis and they all did fine, but I found the Damsels will pick on each other if they have the numbers. |
