I just noticed that my nice big coral beauty angel has a cloudy left eye. He's still swimming and eating very well (which could be why I didn't notice it earlier). Any advice on treating it? Unfortunately I don't have a way to set up a treatment tank right now; all the spare tanks are in storage and with a new room mate there's precious little space anyways... I have live rock and a firefish in the tank, and don't want to harm them. I'd try melafix but the last time I used it on saltwater, the water clouded and all the fish died within 24 hours...

Sorry for not catching this sooner. Chances are that he bumped his eye while swimming around. Keep water quality high and keep giving him a healthy diet and it should clear up on its own.

Actually he died two days after I posted that. But thanks. The other fish seems fine.
