I cant really say without looking at the containers, but I bet there is a difference. SW and FW fish have vastly different diets in teh wild. Im sure flake food would reflect this.

From what I can gather, SW flakes contain ingredients such as Nori that aren't found in FW flakes. Usually to tempt fishes such as marine Angels to eat them.

all "good" marine flakes aim for higher content of iodine...well at least that's what the packages saids...

and quite often it contain high portion of marine algae which most FW formulated flakes lacks
