Ok, I woke up 1 hours ago (busting for th e loo ) on my day off work as I've got the flu...
Looked at the tank at the end of my feet to find it was cloudy. I jumped out of bed (as best as I could) and found my buble anemone with it's tenticles into the powerhead and clouds of white stuff coming out of the powerhead.
Luckily it was only a small powerhead, however, the anemone is still stuck to it, and the guard has actually puncturerd a small hole through it
I turned off the powerhead ASAP, and have not touched the anemone, I know how easily they can break apart...
I've put about 300g of new hight quality activate carbon in the skimmer's filter box (as it has higher flow than any of the three filters I happen to have on the tank).
The lights won't go on in the tank for a while, hell I should be asleep for another 4 hours... however the fish, inverts (apart from the anemone) and shark appear ok.
The tank is still cloudy half an hour after I put the carbon in. I've turned the skimmer up a bit so it pulls out slightly wetter foam (hopefully taking stuff out faster), and hooked up the ozone on full wack (25mg/hr) to the skimmer (before passing through the carbon of course).
Should I just leave the anemone attached? I feel if I try to move it I'll rip it up, and I've heard they can survive being chopped in half by a powerhead.
I would do a water change now (I have 20litres of ro/di water I made yesterday ready) however I have the flu quite badly and really can't lug the bucket around.
I have kent marine poly-ox on hand (says to wait 2 weeks after ozone use however...) and kent ammonia detox (no mention of carbon or ozone)
I'll be in the chat system for a little while if anyone can help, before I collapse of exhaustion from all this and the flu...
Thanks for the help
Tom.

just a quick update...
DarkRealm came on to the chat, and has helped out, thanks very much!
The anemone is definately still alive, but appears to be having problems getting out of the powerhead (turned off of course!), so I'm going to go back to sleep for a few hours, and if it's still not off, use another powerhead to blow water through it (the wrong way) to get it out...
Unless anyone else has any suggestions?
I just hope I don't blow too much rubbish into the tank when I do.
Thanks all
Tom.

Worley i don;t know if its too late but i recommend scooping the anenome and powerhead into a small bucket and either use your hand to make a gentle wave motion or a tiny powerhead i.e 200 ltrs and hour to try and free the anenome or try to disassemble the power head. The force of larger powerheads will rip the anenome for sure plus this way no mess wil go into your tank.

Thanks for the advice.
I've come back from surgery....
I left it for around 5 hours with the powerhead off, and it was trying to break free (half the tenticals puffed up and pulling away) but it had a large chunk of the main body stuck inside.
I pulled the powerhead apart in the water and gently pushed as much as possible out through the guard, none was stuck inside the impellor section, and I got to a point where most of it was out, but there was a section still stuck that i couldn't push out, so I ended up having to do surgery! I had to cut a small porition (about 0.5cm cubed, or 1/5" cubed) off delicatly... it's now sitting at the bottom on the sand near the glass not looking great.
I did try to use a powerhead gently on it, which did help a bit (wasn't too powerful) and did help it let go of a lot of it.
The water is still slightly cloudy, but much better, and none of the fish or inverts look bad. I look worse off than they do
The anemone has now semi-shriveled up, but has latched on to the glass, so I think it's going to be ok! horah!

Well, all is good now, the water is clear, all the fish and inverts etc look fine, the anemone in question has recovered well and has taken the tour of my overflow a few times today and 3/4 of the tendrils are "puffed-out" as normal, and around 1/4 of them where it was damaged are shriveled up, I guess it will heal up over time.
Thanks for the help polar and DarkRealm!
Tom.
