I have no idea on what fish I want for my tank. I have a Potter's Angel, Royal Gramma, and a Red Banded Goby. The fish MUST be reef safe (yes I know I took a risk on the angel). I would like something that stands out well and has a good size to it. I like Butterflys and Tangs, but they get too big and can sometimes not be reef safe. SOOOOO........ ideas? |

In this case you have several possible choices- the flame, longnose, and any peaceful Cirrhitichthys species are all candidates. Really the only thing I'd be worried about in that tank is the goby, though if it is adult size and you add a smaller hawk, it likely won't be eaten. To advance their case, hawkfish are very helpful in policing those annoying shrimp and hermit crabs that sometimes pop up in marine tanks. No worries there. ![]() |
