Honestly they don't look fresh to me at all too.... Does the frozen food in LFS really make better food for them? I know it's the best to buy fresh from seafood shop....but I just want to find a more convenient way |

The frozen food in the LFS also is sterilized and sometimes has vitamins added, so if i were you i would use LFS food. |

I doubt that all bait shop substances are diseased, but I would expect a higher chance of disease through them... PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread. |

For my last batch of homemade fish food I used a "bits bag" of seafood which included octopus, squid, fish, crab, oysters and mussels.. The whole bag, and it was large enough for me to make 5 ziploc bags (pressed almost flat) worth of frozen fish food, cost me less than $5 at the asian market.. Frozen cubes from the LFS are great and easy, but I can tell you that my fish go nuts for the homemade.. You might like giving that a try if you're looking for an economical way to feed your fish.. Not to mention it's just fun mixing up fish food recipes ![]() Good Luck to you.. |
