Today i bought a brime shrimp hatching kit. The kit it included a base (to connect the 2 liter bottle to), 3 packs of brine shrimp eggs and airline tubing. It was fairly cheap (under 10$U.S.) Later i bought 1 brine shrimp net and 1 air pump (for a 10 gallon tank). Then later that day i put everything together. ! cut off the end of a 2 liter bottle of soda and cleaned the bottle well(wwith no soap) Thyen i attatched it to the base. Then i atatched the air line tubing to the base. Then i cut the tubing in 2 near the base then added a check valve. Then i pluged in the airline tubing to the airpump and turned it on. After that i added enough water to fill the bottle half way. Then i adjusted the temp of the water by removing and adding colder water until the temp was around 80 degrees F. Then i took a desk lamp that put out a lot of heat and sat it next to the bottle to act as a heater.(making shure it wasnt to close) Then last i added the brine shrimp eggs. AFter that every hour or so i would check the temp and turn the heating lights on and off as needed.

Now what im doing is...waiting. Hopefully tommorow ill have some bbs. I really hope my fish will enjoy!

Does anyone think im doing anything wrong. If i am please point it out asap. And if anyone has some feeding suggestions.(how do i feed the bbs to my fish?)

Thanks

ok. But i cant do that because my fish arent to big but ill just dump some in the tank and wait for them to eat them then add some more. I hope theyll still hatch because myy temp was fluctuating (spelling?) to much. it droped to like 74 f. So i threw in a heater for a 15 gal tank and made shure it wasnt touching the plastic and it seems to work bettter then the light.
