Put your sand in the empty tank. Once you get the sand in the tank take some clean (non scented) trash bags and cover the sand with the bags. Now take a bowl and set it in the middle of the tank...pour your water slowly into the bowl and let it overflow. By doing this it will minimize the cloudy tank syndrome that a lot of people get. You will still get some clouding if you have your powerheads running before you get a good bacteria population going. Dont worry though, the clouding will stop as soon as you get a nice healthy bacteria population...they "glue" the sand down ![]() [hr width='40%'] And officers consoled one another, We realized the magnitude of our loss As we bury yet another Law Enforcement brother. |
