can anyone provide me with information on maroon anemones. Is it aggresive, what does it eat, how often to feed, water current, lighting, max size etc.

There is no such thing as a maroon anemone, at least not to my knowledge. Maroon clownfish, yes, but not a maroon anemone. If you were thinking about adding this clown to your tank, I would not. You've already got two other clownfish species, and your aquarium is pretty full as it is. The maroon clown is the largest species of clownfish, and one of the most aggressive.

Err...like Nick said I've never heard of that either, only the Maroon Clownfish.

Please post the scientific name of the animal you're interested in.

ive dug up some more info. The real name is Ritteri anemone. And the scientific name is - Heteractis magnifica - i beleive but im not 100 % shure Hope this helps!

I researched this anemone a while back and found out that it is one of the hardest anemones to keep. It requires high lighting as well as intermittent strong water flow. It gets pretty large 10-12" across, maybe larger. It would appreciate some meaty foods once or twice a week but should get alot of it's nutrients from the water and good lighting as well. HTH
