Again I have bought a fish w/o doin any research. I special ordered a "purple clown tang". I cant find any info on this fish. I just got in and it doesnt look like a common clown tang so I dont think they are related (which is good considering what I know about em now.) I dont think its anything exotic... It was only $9. I looked at alot of pictures online and the only thing that resembles it was a Atlantic Blue tang... kinda.

...I should just put up some pics. :88)

You might have some problems with adding that tang to the tank with the Kole tang......they are both from Ctenochaetus sp. and will probably be fairly aggressive towards each other.

Without seing the face of the tang, my ID is going to be A bristletooth tang, AKA lavendar tang, brown bristletooth.

Its a toss up between a Kole and the bristletooth though.....Im just figuring that since you already have a Koles that you have compared them and they are different.

What size tank? The Bristletooth gets 10in adult size and the Kole isnt far behind it with an adult size of 8in.
