I just noticed that my kole tang has some white spots on his top fin and on his belly]:|. Im pretty sure its ich (yes, I did put him in a quarantine tank [but not good enough]). freshwater baths work? how fast does the ich spread to other fish?

Has anyone used chemi-pure? results?

My tank is ultra boring looking(really grayish brown)... (not the fish) is there any product that'll spice up the colors on my LR?

Is the light bulb thats just for marine tanks and is really blue really needed?

just before it hits stage 2 of ich it usually will hit other fish. but remeber them fish may of been treated for ich elsewhere and therefor devloped immunity to it, although they can still carry the bug. seperate the fish and treat as meds say. make sure not over dose its better to under if anything

What size tank is it?
Water parameters (alk, ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate,temp, salinity, etc)?

Yes, I have used it and also red slime remover, it works well, but does not cure the problem, it only hides it by killing the cyanobacteria. The cause of the problem is still there.

Depends on who you ask, and what lighting you are using

Generally just the wattage, and the pond ones are a little more heavy duty as far as construction

What kind of tank is it? FO, FOWLR, or reef? I would shoot for a minimum of 20 times turnover no matter what kind of tank it is IMO

Do tangs like Nori alot or is it BS?

Nori/seaweed should be your tangs main diet.....they will take meaty foods also, but without the seaweed in their diets, they tend to get skinny, pale in color, and also develope Head and Lateral line disease.
