![]() | Identification of Worm |

I was unable to get a picture because of it being so dark. It was a long (about 20 inches!) thin worm, dark in color (perhaps dark green or brown), that slithered all through the water like a snake. It didn't appear to have any bristles. It was especially interested in the vegetable clip along the side of the tank that still had a bit of Romaine Lettuce in it. I've noticed what appear to be some tunnels running through the sand, but this is the first time I've spotted anything like this. Any ideas what this could possible be? I'm not sure whether it could be harmful or helpful. I'm also wondering if there are more like him hiding out in the rock. Last edited by PeaceB2U at 31-Oct-2004 08:21 |

Its not part of their natural diet, and also provides no nutrition to them. You'd be much better off feeding algae. |
