	Is My Tank Overstocked
Gerber77 Fingerling Posts: 44 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Feb-2005	I have a 30 gallon fowlr currently set up. I think my tank is overstocked and if it is what size tank would be the best for these fish. My list is: 3 false percs- 1 inch 1 common cleaner wrasse- 2 inch 3 blue/green chromis- 1 in. 2 firefish- 2 in. 1 yellow clown goby- 1/2 in. 5 red-legged hermit- 1 in. 1 cleaner shrimp- 1 in. 1 peppermint shrimp-1 in. 1 sand starfish- small any comments are great.thank you.

Patchy Enthusiast Posts: 224 Kudos: 195 Votes: 0 Registered: 25-Sep-2005	Yeah, it kinda is. do you have a sump/fuge? 40-50g would be better. personally i wouldnt be keeping 3 clowns. when a pair forms the sexless clown will be the object of much abuse.

I have a whisper 50 hob filter, 2 large air stones, a powerhead, protein skimmer, and I do three gallon water changes weekly. The clowns are very small and when I notice a pair starting I will put the pair in my twenty.

Gerber77 Fingerling Posts: 44 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Feb-2005	I am moving all of those fish into a 110 gallon tank that I finished building this morning. I will cycle the tank for a month then start moving the fish little by little.
