And there are some mags you cannot get in some countries. As well, there are some mags that are only sold in certain countries. There is always a bigger fish... |

Probably due to the reasons, of there are not as many articles and publications about SW fish keeping. As the water quality and parameters (other than temp) is basically the same for all SW fish. And there are only a few fish that have been or are hobbyist/comercial bred. So there is really not much to talk about with the SW fish. On the other hand, with coral, there is much to talk about, such as placement, propagating, lighting, feeding, etc. For these and probably other reasons, they don't have enough to dedicate a magazine solely to SW fish. Thus they are combined in with the FW fish mags. Well, there is; Coral Which is mostly just about coral. But is a good mag, I get it. http://www.amazon.com/Coral/dp/B00028WYVS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=magazines&qid=1207515432&sr=1-1 Tropical Fish Hobbyist Which I also get, and is my fav of all the mags. Both for SW and FW. And yes, it has both FW and SW. http://www.amazon.com/Tropical-Fish-Hobbyist/dp/B00006L078/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=magazines&qid=1207515432&sr=1-2 Aquarium Fish International Old name; Aquarium Fish Magazine I used to get this one. But was not as pleased with it as much as I was with the TFH mag listed prior. It is more aimed to the beginner fish keeper, which is good, just was getting a bit boring for me. Also, it is both SW and FW. http://www.amazon.com/Aquarium-Fish-International/dp/B00005N7OK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=magazines&qid=1207515432&sr=1-8 There is always a bigger fish... |
