 | Mantis Shrimp |
IgOtSoMeFiSh Banned Posts: 26 Kudos: 24 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Jan-2005   | I have read elsewhere that mantis shrimp deserve a tank of their own, and am interested in starting one. I kept one for 8 months till I moved..the move ended up stressing him out and he died. Unless you are experienced, I would not recommend keeping one. Oh, and the mantis that you linked to are not a Juv. and adult....they are two different species. The last one you linked to is a very expensive mantis, and gets rather large. I did a school project on them, and I remember that picture. |

| DarkRealm Overlord Moderator metal-R-us Posts: 5962 Kudos: 2166 Registered: 23-Sep-2002 | I would hold off....your tank (if I remember correctly) hasnt been set up long enough to be reliably stable yet. Give it time, Mantis will still be around when you and your tank are. |
