Anyone who knows about me knows Marine Bettas are one of my favorite fish. I love them. Well today I had some excitement as you can see in this thread

http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/thread.asp?id=45274

Well I came home with a Beautiful Marine Betta that is only about 2 inches long. He is hiding out right now like they often do. But as soon as I can I will be getting pictures

Due to his small size I felt safe putting him in my Reef tank. He is small enough not to be a threat to my fish or Inverts. And WWM told me there is almost no chance of him attacking them as he grows around them. Some chance of course but not much.

He's so cute! I kind of want to get one for the 55 gallon I'm going to get, but I'd probably never see it.:%)

LOL Yeah I know what you mean.

The little guy is taking food now. I use a long dowel with the wire from a twist tie attached to the end. A small piece of krill get stuck on there and moved around till he shows interest. Guy is a little pig.

Hi Azziza,

I just got an adult Marine Betta,

I have given him a length of pipe to hide in and he seems pretty happy. I am just concerned as I haven't seen him eat yet. The LFS was feeding him live feeder shrimp but said he would accept frozen. I adore him but he hates me (Probably left him too long in the bag before freeing him) so it may be because I am watching him at feeding times.

Have you had any trouble feeding yours?

Nope, in fact I just fed him about 10 minutes ago. How are you feeding and what are you using?

I am using frozen marine prep. (Mysis/brine/veg stuff) along with brine in vitamin jelly - but all dead.

I think he may be persuaded with some live feeders
