Hi All,

I have an old 2 foot / 15 gallon aquarium that I'm no longer using. Is this large enough for a mini/nano reef environment? Also, are there any invertebrates that could be added to such an environment?

Yes, it's completely possible, but you will need to do some research and investing on new equipment.

You're going to need saltwater bulbs, and probably different filtration. Read up a bit first, and find out what you want to keep, and then do research from there.

There's lots of different inverts you can keep. Some of the smaller shrimp and crabs, and many different kinds of corals of course.

You can get a Pistol Shrimp and a Yellow Watchman Goby. They form a symbiotic relationship. The shrimp and goby will live in a cave together and are very interesting to watch. The only problem is that the pair may not dig a cave in view, which means you would bearly see them if you had lots of decorations.
