I have received 2 Ocellaris Clownfish today from the lfs. I bought some small pellet food (they ate these types of pellets at the lfs) and a frozen food variety pack. I tried to give them some frozen food (thawed), but they did not even try to eat it. It drifted right by them. I also tried to give them some pellets, but the current takes the pellets by them too fast. They have caught some pellets, but missed most of them. They like the pellets, but they can't catch them.So far, they like to hang out in the spot with the strongest current, will they always do this? Any feeding suggestions would be great. The clowns are 9-12 months of age. Also, any tips for care or anything would be appreciated.24g nano-33lbs. of live rock.

what is creating the current in the tank? is it possible for you to slow the current and then turn it back up after feeding? as for the frozen foods i would try the little basket that they sell for live foods to go into, it sits on top and holds the food for the fish to come to it and they peck at the food through the little holes. try a flake blend that will typically go down but just a little bit or else youll have to fish it out.

The current is from the filter. It's a nano with a powerhead to push the water back into the aquarium. When I feed them pellets, I'll just turn it off.
