The reason that they are harder to take care of is because they require atleast 3 feedings a day... There are other Anthias that are easier to take care of and are more adjusted to one feeding a day, such as Dispar Anthias. |

Does this apply to some of the other 'difficult' Anthias too? And what about Mirolabrichthys tuka? I keep hearing that this is an 'impossible' species. One of those that makes even veterans tear out their hair in frustration. ![]() |

Most Anthias will do fine if there are alot of cliffs and overhangs, non-aggressive tank mates, and frequent feedings. The purple queen anthias is a little more picky about eating and that is one of the reasons that it is harder to keep. |
