I also have found a cloud of "mosquitos" about the size of a baseball in my sump.Too tiny to photograph but they look like a shrimp type thing.small bodys with thin tails that are swimming in a tight formation.Mabey 50 of them or so.
Any Ideas????

They have been in your tank the whole time.......you just havent noticed them. They came in on your live rock, your corals that you have bought, etc.

Those are good things. I've noticed that my reef tank after 6 months has things crawling all over it. From what I hear, if you add a sump or a fuge to your system it will really show after a while. The things you really need to look out for is hitchhiker crabs, they can be deadly to your corals.
