My power head came with a air-flow control device that connects via a thin black tube to the submerged pump. The guy that sold it to me said I should just use the Maxi-jet for circulation of water....And nevermind the bubbles. Any thoughts?

Also, I noticed I could only get the unit to make bubbles if the pump was less than half-way in the tank....Hmmmm.

There shouldn't be any bubbles. The pump should be fully submersed. Lose the tubing, its not necessary.

If you use the diverter.( the piece that the tubing connects to ) There should be a small plug in the box to seal up where the hole is.

Cool. There was a little venturi plug, which I've put in place. No bubbles it is. Thanks, gang.
