i always see people talking about all of these different types of corals in their tank, what about sea fans? i have added one to my 55g and its actually starting to develop. i only only have 2 damsels and 2 stars in my tank and they have been the same. are sea fans just rear or not wanted essentially? reason being i got mines for really cheap.the sea fan i have has a very long story behind it.

It depends on the sea fan...is it photosynthetic, or non photosynthetic? Most sea fans dont have a very good history with being able to thrive in captivity.

Yep, I believe they are.

Are you target-feeding your sea fan at all? If not, then I wonder what is making it do as well as you say.:%)
