i have bought this for planted freshwater in error, will it raise the ph of salt water?

From what I know, the Seachem Alkaline Buffer is sodium bicarbonate based. Just what kind of concentration, I don't know. Using sodium bicarbonate can be done, but high concentrations, can raise the PH level very quickly and dangerously. I would recommend that if you do use it, do so with caution (small doses) and monitor it frequently.
