It is a 55 gallon tank. I had a 200 gph filter to keep the salt mixing in. Then on saturday i went and got a pair of 145gph powerheads. Still 2 days later i still am not getting good readings on the specific gravity. I am using a coralife deep 6 hydrometer. Could there be a problem with that? Also i didnt know i was supposed to mix the salt outside of the tank even without fish when i filled it. Can anyone give me any help or tips to getting my readings to be where i want them or even the same every time? |

(I believe the deep 6 hydrometer is calibrated to read correctly around 76 degrees farenheit)Have you been experiencing temperature fluctuations? I use the deep 6 running at 78 degrees with no probs.. Hope this helps some... ![]() |
