	Strange Clown Mouth
mrlimpet Hobbyist Posts: 52 Kudos: 57 Votes: 3 Registered: 11-Dec-2004	Hello, folks. I woke this morning to discover my 6 month old clown's mouth in a strange condition. Mouth looks kind of swollen, if not "stuck" in the open position. No discoloration, abrasions, etc. Just Mick Jagger lips. Not this way last lite. He did not eat this morning. Any thoughts? Thanks

It should pass in time, but without a picture its hard to tell. Keep an eye on him though. My yellowtail damsel had that happen to him once a long time ago too.. Swam around with an open mouth and didn't do a very good job of eating.. Give your clownfish a couple of days for the swelling on the mouth to go down and hopefully it will be a little wiser in the future.. Good Luck with it..
