No It's not a Fireball. The LFS really didn't know which one this is.The Fireball has a the yellow strip all the way down its back.I read that these guys can come from three differant areas.Iv'e been looking but haven't found any info yet.

Hi Oleta! How's things?

Anyhow, yes it is a "Cherub" angel. As this is a common name, some may know it as an argi angel. Its real name is Centopyge argi. It gets to about 2-2 1/2 inches long, or around 7cm. It is one of the TRUE dwarf angelfish, and also does extremely well in any reef tank. Will not bother any of the corals.

HTH.....

You do realize that Blood Shrimp will likely not live together unless they are a mated pair? They don't take kindly to other shrimp of the same variety. This conflict could likely result in the death of at least one of the shrimp.

You may get away with 2, maybe, but 3 will defentinally test your limits.

Not sure what to think about that. Both LFS's and some other online inquiries have led me to understand 3 or more is bst for the Blood Shrimp variety.

From the online vendors I've seen, and profiles I've read two may be fine, although it would be much better if they were already a pair. Premium Aquatics for example says they do poorly in groups of 3 or more.

More than one place has something like this in their info for Fire Shrimp: "While it will tolerate its mate, others of its own kind will be chased away or harassed."

PA: "Recommend 1 or 2 per tank, they don't seem to go well with more then 2."

Id suggest not adding a third. Two should work, but it's possible it may not.

Thanks,I will take your advice as the cost of these guys is high and I really like the personality of the two I have.
Replacement critters don't always behave the same way.Hate when you get attached to something and it croaks for one reason or another.

They are a bit expensive. I know the one I had was around $35, but its HUGE. I wanted to add another because they look so great, but after I read some of those things, didn't want to risk losing one. I'll probably add some regular cleaner shrimp insted. Not as pretty, but more functional.

The two I have are still getting along. They are pretty small.I am thinking about one or two others also.I may add some humpbacks to the fuge just to see if they reproduce.I read in A.F. magazine that the might.
