niggit![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fish Addict Posts: 631 Kudos: 282 Votes: 0 Registered: 29-Jan-2003 ![]() ![]() | hi there! i have a fairly new (6 weeks old) 10G sw aquarium (my first marine tank!) that has recently started 'growing' little white dots on the sides of the glass. i looked at them closely, and they have roughly eight see-through 'arms' growing off them (like a sunfish). the tank has 2" of aragonite as a substrate, and about 10lbs of live rock. it's inhabitants are 5 blue legged hermit crabs and one firefish (which i just added yesterday). what are these things and are they harmful? should i remove them, and if so, how? thanks |
