Dafridge![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Enthusiast Posts: 154 Kudos: 113 Votes: 17 Registered: 16-Jul-2003 ![]() ![]() | Hey all i have finally purchased some live rock for my system. i noticed that some pieces have very dark spots on them, i have tried to scrub most of the dead spots off but just to be sure those very dark brown almost black spots are dead spots right? i tried to sniff one of the rock that had this "dead spot" on it and i didnt notice any funny odors. should i keep the dead spot rocks away from the good rocks? or will all of the rocks have some kind of die off. |

You can remove the dead spots from the rock if you wish to help keep the ammonia levels down, but its not necessary ![]() |
