	feeding clowns
never say die Hobbyist Posts: 85 Kudos: 58 Votes: 1 Registered: 18-Jul-2004	i just got two clownfish the other day and i dont know if their eating them what i feed them i feed them some sea weed,crushed up flakes as theyre small,pellets and frozen marine mix and theyre swimmin at the top of the tank. should i be worried? or is this just normal behavior

Clownfish and indeed most marine fish, can take a while to get settled into a tank. During this time they may not take food, especially if they are more used to a different type of food. Don't worry to much unless it goes on for more than a week. Keep in mind though that they do like meaty foods so you may want to try some cut up mysis shrimp or brine shrimp as well.

If your fish continue to seem disinterested in eating for much longer, it would be something to try.. Good Luck to you..
