fish for 10G | |
niggit Fish Addict Posts: 631 Kudos: 282 Votes: 0 Registered: 29-Jan-2003 | hello! i'm currently cycling a 10G tank, and it's coming up time to add some fish. i have a few ideas, but there's so much neat stuff out there i want to be sure that i really like what i add, because 10G doesn't leave much room for expansion! anyhow, here's a list of what i was considering and things i've seen that i like: -firefish -something that looked like a firefish, but with creme and brown vertical stripes -clownfish -watchman goby -shrimp (peppermint? cleaner?) what would you put in there? thanks in advance |

They are pretty cool, you could get one and as for the shrimp, they will live in a symbiotic relationship with a Pistol Shrimp. |

As for fish, one or two is all you can keep in that size tank. There are many you can choose from. A neat thing you can do, depending on where you live, is go with some of the really small fish, and get several. The reason I say where you live, is the temperature. There are many out there that stay an inch small. But a lot of them require cooler temps. Catilina gobies are beautiful and very colorful. But will not fare well in temps higher than mid or lower 70sF. There are several gobies that will stay under 2 inches as well. Most gobies do well and will do better in the smaller tanks, as they don't require or prefer large swimming areas like many of the other fish. And, they are usually quite active and fun to watch. There is always a bigger fish... |
