You will be able to enjoy it more if you are down there more. And access makes it a whole lot easier, thus you don't get burned out from having it be a hassle to do mainenance. Less maintenance and easier maintenance makes like a whole lot easier. As well, down the road, you could always set up a second tank down there, the one you now have, and tie it into the new set up. Thus, you could do a different kind of tank, like one a SPS, and the other an LPS. One could have more wild or aggressive fish, while the other houses your more passive fish and critters. _____________________________________________________________ There is always a bigger fish...

I vote basement, 120 - 4 footer, and add another strip of T5s in front(halides in back because most of your rockwork + coral is in back) to fill in the light spread.
