	just getting started
mrjackson Small Fry Posts: 5 Kudos: 4 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Aug-2004	i am teaching aquatic science and have never had a pet fish in my life. we have tanks that already have rocks in the bottom, they were used last year. my kids are asking about bringing these fish that i have no idea if they are ok in these 20 gallon tanks or not. where do i start?

Before taking the plunge into marine, it would be good to have a freshwater tank to get used to fishkeeping. Plus, freshwater is A LOT less expensive.
