i think lobsters acn get pretty big and i'm sure what they eat but i figure that meaty foods would be a good start or maybe giant pellets and i know alot(not all) of crayfish can be very agressive and perhaps lobsters could be the same
the only time i've seen lobsters in a tank is at an asian resturant and they were huge but i'm no expert so maybe there are suitable ones for an aquarium

The common food lobster would be mighty expensive to keep considering they are from cold water....you would need a huge chiller just for a small tank to cool the water that much.....plus they get very big.

There are other variations of lobsters though, like the purple reef lobster. They are a smaller variation and tend to be easy to take care of.

I have a dwarf reef lobster in my 100gal at least thats what they called at the LFS, his sort of a pinky colour with whie spots and bright blue hairs all over him, anyway he dose hide alot but you always see him at feeding time. seems to get on with all his tankmates, I was a bit worried about my cleaner shrimp But I have had no problems.
I have had him about 4 months now and his about 3 inches long I guess his growing because he has shed his skin twice.

I feed him prawns and white bait sometimes but he seems to eat anything he can get his claws on brineshrimp, mysis whatever. when I bought him I was told they are scavingers.

Anyways I think his cool, his the only thing in the tank with a name his called Pinchy.
