okay does anyone feed thier live rock?

I baught two diffrent bottles that came together
heres the names:
ESV bionic-calcium
ESV Bionis-alkalinity

10ml each

I dont think you have to feed your live rock? its full of benifical bacteria that just does its thing all by itself.

supposedly it speeds up the process of the good purple algea? Unless i was totally douped by this guy! but i trust him and have been going to him for a long time

B-Ionic will not really "feed" your rock. B-Ionic is a two part additive to suppliment calcium and alkalinity. The calcium portion will "feed" the coraline algea that grows on live rock though, along with any stoney (sps, or lps) corals that you may get later down the road.

Its a good product to have for keeping calcium and alkalinity in check. Just make sure you test for what you are dosing.

If you really want to "feed" your rock and your sand bed critters, use phytoplankton. Its a tiny algae that a lot of live rock and sand bed critters use as a food. There are also quite a few critters that feed primarily off of detrius.
