Now about water purification, i see that Aquarium pharmacuticals has a water purifier for $30 on big als online. it is said to remove harmful materials and is ok for SW aquariums can i use that? aslo, can i use a household drinking water purifier to filter the water?(that has been in the back of my mind for a while). i would appreciate any help and i give thank in advance to those that do, Senor Refridgerator |

The skimmer you get will depend on the size of your tank. AquaMedic and AquaC EV have good skimmer lines IMO. You'll be amazed at what your skimmer will pull out of your water, no matter how clean you think it is. I'm not familiar with this water purification unit you are speaking of, a link might help though. Personally, if I were you, I'd just put that money towards an RO/DI unit instead, as I feel it will benefit you much more long term. Spectrapure and Air Water Ice are good brands worthy of my recommendation. HTH a bit... -Ferret -Formerly known as the Ferretfish |
