A place to have a vegetable filter set up with Macro algaes for nutrient export. A place to have other critters, clams, sponges, aiptasia, etc for nutrient export. Pretty much a refugium boils down nutrient export and a safe place for the critters to mature and feed the tank. [hr width='40%'] Hoping you are dreaming of me too...
