hi a friend of mine has asked me to ask a question on here about his serpant starfish.
he has just got home from work and noticed all its legs are missing leaving only the main body, he thought it was dead but when he went to remove it it was still alive.
does anyone know what might of happened to his legs?? I know that they can lose them easily if caught on a rock or something so wondered if he may have eaten them due to starvation or something?

Usually dropping of legs indicates poor water quality..Id start with water tests.

Please do!

If all his params are in place, then we'll keep working on it, but that'd be the best thing to check initially.

It can never hurt to perform a water test.
