hey i have a pair of clowns in my 25g and 1 of my clowns who is fine goes up to the powerhead and lays motionless on the filter cartridge and stays there breathing and all i go up to the tank and it moves away, the other one is fine and doesnt do it, is there something wrong with my clown?

maybe you are just experiencing the clown loach behaviour. quote from the FP's species profile.

"Don't worry if the clown loach lies on its side, it is just their nature to do so."

FYI, clown loach will outgrow your tank, they can get almost 12 inches when fully grown and they are best kept in group of six. They will live up to 50 long years.

I've heard of this in Clowns. My Ocellaris Clownfish pair float on there side when the lights go out, in a place with no current. They right themselves after the lights come on. You might have a problem if the fish is doing this all the time.

everything is fine in the tank and theres only 2 fish in there the clowns and as soon as i turn the lights on it acts normal..........tis very weird.
