The fact is, this pumps will be circulating thewater, as well as providing surface agitation. If its angled diagonally, and the flow is angle towards the sruface, it will be perfect. |

I have 1600GPH or so of flow in my 75 Gallon tank but I would not use only a single pump to push that kind of water around. It would be to much for the fish. a single MJ900 would be far to much for any fish in a 10Gallon tank. YOu would basically have the poor thing shoved up against the other side of the tank all the time. |
