Ive decided to go with a 125g instead of my 90g. I need some help with choosing the setup though. I was thinking a fluval 404 and a emperor 400. Or is there a better canister i should look at? A 300 watt heater should be ok right? Thanks, im open to any input.

i have a fluval 404 on my 75g. so i think you should think about getting a wet-dry or use a sump system. for heaters you should get 2 300wt heaters.

Get an EHEIM Pro II and an Emperor 280. You will need at least 2 heaters.

For something that big I'd agree with a sump or definately external canisters. Better to have too much filtration (if this is possible) than not enough. Two heaters would definately be a must.
