I've had a 15gal running for nearly 2 years, but the fish are starting to get old and I decided its time to restock. This is my plan:

5 or 6 bronze corys
3 or 4 cherry barbs
? guppies
1 or 3 female bettas (depending on attitude)

I just wanted to know what you guys thought, and how many guppies I could fit.

I wouldnt stock bettas and guppies together even it is female bettas.

Personally, unless this is a planted tank I wouldnt suggest much more than the corys and the barbs.

6 Bronze Corydoras, 4 Male Guppy's & 4 Cherry Barbs would be fine in a 15 gal. tank.

well i have two cherry barbs in my 15 and they love their own company b/c they are just fine with only one more of their kind. It is a m/f pair and for you thats what i would go with. For the corys i would say 5-6 EMERALDS, because they have more personality in m/o than bronzes and they are smaller than bronzes which will free up some more room for you. Next i would go with maybe a few center piece fish, or maybe some catfish, ottos. They are so cute and do a great job with combating algea. I would say maybe 3-4 of the lil guys. Then maybe if you wanted you could get some live plants. They are always addint color and natural vibes to your tank.

I probably should have explained, the tank is planted, mostly elodea, and I already have one bronze cory and one cherry barb. I used to have more cories and another barb, and want to get the remaining ones some company. I also have one female betta in there, but she is very old and slowing down.

I really liked the cherry barbs, they added some color to the tank, which is why i anted 2 pairs.
