These guys are more or less the most beautiful community fish in existence.

However, my real vote goes for: some kind of cichlid or something that's a bit of a challenge to keep or breed, so you don't have to worry about getting a little tired of them.

i personally love them

errrr emm...Right now the tank contains 4 white skirts, and 3 zebras...the gold barbs would have clashed with the red temple .

Okay, I've got available tank space but can't decide what to move into it from the office tanks.

Currently planted with java fern, water wisteria, and red temple plant and 3 zebra danios having the time of their lives :%). Filtration is AC150, adding ferts and KNO3.

I have 1 white skirt tetra from the infamous "used tank" I purchased who needs a school, he's in the larger office tank with 4 diamond tetras

I also have 2 gold barbs currently occupying the 10 gallon in the office who also need a larger school.

Tank temperature ranges from 68F (-ish) in winter to higher 80's in summer (little too warm for the barbs). PH is currently 6.4 due to co2

They would like your pH of 6.4, and, since you only have 1, it could use some company of it's own kind.
