I'll be setting up a 25 gallon(30"x12.5"x16" ) in a couple months.
I want to move some of my current fish into this tank. And possible add something else.
I already have 6 Zebra Danios, 3 Platies, 4 Peppered Cories. And I'd like to add 6 Pygmy Cories.
How's that sound?

I would bump up you peppered cories to 6. Other than it sounds like a good plan

My 4 Peppered Cories are about 2" now. So the only way I'm going to get 2 more is if I can find some around the same size. The chances of that aren't good. Peppered Cories are sold at about 3/4" around here.

I've been wanting Pygmy Cories for awhile now. So I'm very happy I can add them to this tank.

Cories are very sweet bottom dwellers and I don't see the problem with adding a few little guys. They'll grow to be big and healthy soon enough, and you are prolly one of the few people who realizes the size of the shoal they need to be in. I'd say go for it.

Alright, sounds good. I'm sure my Peppered Cories and Danios will enjoy this slightly larger tank. I'm so glad I can do this for them. Thanks for input, everyone!

Feel free to add smaller corys, they won't be harrassed by the older ones. In fact I've been told by one of the cory breeders on this site that they will often take them under their ...err well fin! Peppered corys are some of the larger ones so I'd actually suggest against a second school of corys, instead build up the peppers .
