Heres whats up so far:
The tank - 33g
The lights - 2x 25 watt blue moon actinic
substrate - black sand
Filter - Fluval 204

I set the tank up yesterday and did a water test today. The nitrItes are perfect. The ph is neutral. But the nitrAtes are hitting about 12.5 mg/l. I've put in stress coat, stress zyme, and ammonia lock 2. Would you say it was advisable to put some cycling fish in. My last tank was a 2 foot and i was a begginer so i set it up left it a week then put fish in. they survived but that was a fluke in my oppinion. So i'm not a begginner to water levels and fish but i am to cycling a tank. is it a bad idea to put 2 dannios in tomorrow?
cheers
FCF

You do know that a piranha can't go in a 33g. The ammo-lock is going to screw with your cycle. You could go with about 5 danios to cycle with. Also the nitrates are probably from your tap.

This is only a temporary solution. My uncle kept 3 piranhas in a 33g for 2 years then transfered them into a 55g. I move out in one - two years so i can get a ???g

Pirahnas should be kept in a tank not smaller than a 55g all of their life.

Having them i a small 33g tank for 2 years will mostlikely make them not grow and die an early death.

Tank Requirements:
Juvenile and sub-adult specimens of this species should be kept in a tank of at least 20 gallons (80 liters).

Ya its good till they're about 6in and start to beat the living crap out of each other. It takes about 6 months to reach that size to.
