| | 55 Gal. what do you think? |
| bigox 25 Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 0 Registered: 17-Dec-2006 | Well i got a 55 gallon tank from a friend and it had 1 rainbow shark that he says is aggressive cause it ate his neons, and 1 black skirted tetra the only remaining from a school of 7. He gave it to me cause he is getting a 75 gallon and knows i only have a 29 gallon tank. He didnt have room for both and instead of selling it he gave it to me. so after getting it all set up in my house i put in 10 zebra danios. I think i would like to continue my asian theme with some bala sharks ( maybe 2 or 3)and i dont know what else. i would like larger fish like the balas and the rainbow, because i already have the school of fish i wanted. so if not balas, are there any other fairly large fish i can put that will get allong nicely? |

They could stay in there for maybe a year or so, but will eventually need a 6 foot tank. I wouldn't get them unless you know for sure that you'll upgrade their tank. |

The only reason I am answering this thread is because I have always wanted some Denison Barbs. Check them out on the profiles. I think they will suit your needs nicely. I just love their markings and color. Unfortunately I have never owned them so I do not have anything else to add as far as compatability. I have seen them readily available through all the usual mail order stores though. Good luck. "Talk is cheap. Action can be almost as affordable" |
